Wisconsin TV Journalist Jennifer Livingston Fights Weight Criticism

Jennifer Livingston has gone from reporting the news to becoming the news.

The WKBT News 8 anchor received a letter from disgruntled viewer Kenneth W. Krause, which Livingston read aloud on TV October 2. "It's unusual that I see your morning show, but I did so for a very short time today," Livingston quoted Krause as saying. "I was surprised indeed to witness that your physical condition hasn't improved for many years. Surely you don't consider yourself a suitable example for this community's young people, girls in particular."

Krause continued, "Obesity is one of the worst choices a person can make and one of the most dangerous habits to maintain. I leave you this note hoping that you'll reconsider your responsibility as a local public personality to present and promote a healthy lifestyle."

Wisconsin-based Livingston then addressed Krause directly, telling viewers, "The truth is, I am overweigh t. You could call me fat, even obese, on a doctor's chart. But, to the person who wrote me that letter, do you think I don't know that? That your cruel words are pointing out something I don't see?"

"You don't know me. You are not a friend of mine," Livingston continued. "You are not a part of my family and you have admitted that you don't watch this show, so you know nothing about me but what you see on the outside. And I am much more than a number on a scale."

Livingston, a married mother-of-three, received words of encouragement from other viewers on WKBT's Facebook page. She also received support from Ellen DeGeneres, 54, via Twitter. "What a powerful message against bullying," the comedienne told Livingston. "I would love to meet you in person."

During her on-air response, Livingston also reminded viewers that October is National Anti-Bullying Month. "That man's words mean nothing to me. But what really angers me about this is there are children who don't know better, who get e-mails as critical as the one I received -- or in many cases, even worse -- each and every day," she said. "Learn from my experience that the cruel words of one are nothing compared to the shouts of many."

Nice job, K-Cavs!

And the 25-year-old did not disappoint! Famous for her bikini bod, Cavallari has been working hard to lose the baby weight. "Walking uphill on the treadmill to work out this booty," she tweeted Sept. 13. "Bye bye ba by weight."

Indeed, a source told Us Weekly, the former reality star has been "working out like crazy with a trainer."

She and Chicago Bears quarterback Cutler, 29, got engaged in November 2011 after a brief split; no word yet on their wedding date.

Chris Pratt Wants to Weigh 300 Pounds by November

Chris Pratt at the Young Hollywood Awards on June 14, 2012 in Hollywood, California.

While Anna Faris is slimming down after the August 25 birth of her son, Jack, the actress' hilarious husband, Chris Pratt, is packing on the pounds!

The Parks and Recreation actor, 33, has already gained 40 pounds since June in preparation for his role as a lawyer in the upcoming comedy Starbuck. The film centers around Vince Vaughn, 42, whose character learns he's fathered 533 children through sperm donations.

"This is what 275 looks like," Pratt tells Vulture while rubbing his belly. "All man right here."

Pratt says he hopes to weigh 300 pounds by November. To do so, he's been drinking "super gross but pretty tasty" weight gain shakes, in addition to eating at fast food restaurants. "I will hit a couple of burgers like it's laced with crack cocaine," he jokes. "Oooh, I love it."

One unfortunate side effect, Pratt admits, is that his en ergy is lower than ever. "If I just keep eating I can maintain a buzz, like a sugar food buzz. But if I'm in the background of a scene, I'm definitely sitting."

Pratt is no stranger to modifying his body for a role: He toned up to play a baseball player in 2011's Moneyball. "I just like to gain weight and lose weight," he tells Vulture. "It's a roller coaster. I just want to do this. I want to touch God."
